The Eldred Company was founded in 1947 to make machines for the glassware industry. Mechanical loaders transfer ware from a conveyor to a burnoff machine. Burnoff machines create a finished edge on a drinking glass. The Decorator machine screen prints up to 6 colors on the side of a glass. Corelle (R) bowls and Pyrex (R) measuring cups are decorated on Eldred machines. Eldred machines can be purchased through Olivotto Glass Technologies.
