I am fortunate to be semiretired, work only part time, which allows me room to pursue my interests. I cannot respond to your Emails between 10 and 2 during the week because of work but will always get back to you as soon as I can at other times.

My collection of small dolls and cultural collectibles became too large to properly enjoy so I decided to pass many of them on. I primarily sell small vintage dolls and doll clothes with a smattering of international display items. It is mainly a hobby, don't make much money but love seeing them go to new homes as clean and spruced up as I can make them, so someone new can enjoy them also.

I primarily buy vintage small dolls, mainly from the 50s, and old and new doll clothes to dress them in.

I am mainly a collector of small vintage dolls and art pieces for cabinet or shelf display. I enjoy the challenge of finding a doll that has been abused or neglected, or just very well loved, and doing minor fix up/clean up to make her appealing again. When I travel I always find myself bringing home something that represents that location, often Native American art or items made by local artists. I haunt the art fairs, galleries, and museum shops to collect items that appeal to me personally.

I am an avid reader, usually have three books going at a time. I also love good music of all kinds with a particular affinity for blues, vintage rock, folk, and alternative. I dabble in painting, a little gardening, writing, learning new things, and of course, doll collecting.

Listing my favorite books would take up endless space, but I like to read books by international writers to get their perspective. I like everything by Cormac McCarthy, most recently, THE ROAD. Some other books I loved are DISGRACE, PARIDISE, GOD OF SMALL THINGS. Also am a fan of Sci Fi, supernatural and horror, Dean Koontz, Ann Rice, some Steven King, Harlen Ellison, Lovecraft, McCammen, Azimov, Bradbury, on and on...

Again, too many to mention but a sampling over the years are NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, ORDINARY PEOPLE, BLADE RUNNER, BRIDGE ON THE RIVER QUAI, NIGHT OF THE HUNTER, BLUE ANGEL, RAISING ARIZONA, ALIEN, THE DEER HUNTER, ON THE BEACH, LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY.

I like a wide variety of music from Keb Mo to Emmy Lou Harris, as well as vintage rock, blues, folk, alternative, classical, jazz, and opera.

I'm not a big TV watcher but enjoy PBS offerings, Dancing With the Stars, Boston Legal, Washington Week in Review, Jeopardy, South Park, 30 Rock, My Name is Earl, Pushing Daisies.

I sell what I have bought for myself and I do not sell dirty or broken items unless I cannot safely clean or repair it. When that is the case, I will describe the flaws and offer them if they may be of interest to someone. I will always be honest about good, bad, and ugly, which makes my descriptions a bit long and wordy but since buyers cannot examine the item themselves, I try to be clear as to what they will be getting, even though I know this can result in a lower sale price. I have had many buyers tell me the item is nicer than expected. I believe in the Golden Rule and generally leave feedback upon shipping, never hold it hostage. I believe the vast majority of buyers are honest and sincere, and I refuse to be soured by the rare bad experience. We all learn as we go, so I welcome polite messages and feedback, and will always try to work out a problem to the goal of customer satisfaction. Selling on Ebay is a lot of work but I enjoy it and have had met so many super people!

I will refund your purchase price and original shipping cost, also return shipping if problem is result my goof and cannot be resolved to your satisfaction otherwise.
