I have been lucky to live in some great places in this wonderful country! I was raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, then migrated to Long Island, NY for college and stayed there for several years after graduating. I lived in Washington D.C. for almost a year during college also. I met my husband in NY and we left the East Coast for the West. We started in Torrence, CA (just south of L.A.) and moved all around southern CA - Lake Forest, San Marcos, San Clemente and Laguna Niguel. We thought we'd never leave, but then Corpus Christi, Texas called to us. Now we are on an island (North Padre) in the Gulf of Mexico just a walk from the beach, we still can't believe this area isn't built up yet, still a quiet beach town... Who knows where we'll go from here, either way it's enjoying the journey that's the important part of life!

Before I took the plunge to become a mom, I was in a customer service position for over 10 years. Mostly dealing with software support for brokerages and financial firms (some of the toughest, um...stressed people to deal with). Mostly over the phone work, but it taught me well how to deal with all sorts of people and situations. Motherhood is a whole 'nother ballgame, always challenging with some wonderful rewards, and some not so good personal soul searching. Now I live customer service, so to speak, but I am not always in the best mood to serve! Anyway, here I am on Ebay, emptying my scrapbooking supply boxes and selling things off. A family member works in a quilt store and generously supplies me with wonderful sewing and quilting books and supplies. I hate to sell most of the patterns, but I have so many (what quilter doesn't)! Thanks for reading up on me! Enjoy your Ebay experience!
