It's not me, it's us- Elaine & Bob (Mom & Pop). We started an antique shop in our two story, heated and air conditioned, barn attached to our home back in 1987. I'm a retired high school teacher and mom is about to retire.

We specialize in country furniture, primitives, country store items, advertising signs and other memorabilia, ephemera and post cards.

At the present time, we enjoy 100% positive feedback with total feedback much more because of many repeat customers. We believe in, and practice, common courtesy, fairness and common sense. Our shop, located on route 79 in Assonet, is open daily from noon to 5 pm. except when we close to go out and find more old things of worth, wonder and whimsy. Our shop has seen many interesting people over the years (some as far away as Japan, India, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Israel and even Iceland) who have enriched our lives just by meeting them. It's really a wonderful business to be a part of and we certainly have fun finding the old things and passing them on. It's really a recycling business. We are also registered Trading Assistants and offer our services to sell for you on eBay. We also appraise items in our shop for a fee but will not offer to buy anything we apppraise (for obvious ethical reasons).

PayPal, checks (personal or business), cashier checks and money orders are welcome. We prefer that buyers not send cash or stamps.

With PayPal, money orders or cashier checks we normally ship the day after receipt. Personal & business checks take longer to clear our bank but normally items are shipped out within a week. Local buyers are welcome to save shipping costs by picking up items at our shop. Vacationers on the way to Cape Cod often stop in to pick up items because we are just a few minutes away from major highways.

Having to contact buyers who have not paid and/or neglect to meet their responsibilities to make email contact. 2)People who make arragements to pick up item at our shop but neglect to tell us when they can't make it. 3) Poor packaging on items we purchase on eBay. 4) Exorbitant shipping charges placed by some sellers on items they offer. 5.Smoking- off limits in our shop- sorry!
