Living In A Wolf Den
Yes,over the last 18 years we truly have raised four wolves in addition to our wonderful adult children, (who I will tell you about further down). The photo above is our three-year-old wolf, Luna, who is a spoiled princess. She is so loving the neighbors come get her for play dates with their dogs. We lost our beautiful Corey not long ago to a congenital disease afflicting arctic wolves. She was not as sociable as Luna, but she was my constant companion for eight years. I believe there is a heaven, and that she is there with my sister & brother - and Heidi, the abandoned wolf pup who started it all when we adopted her. We will one day raise another wolf. In the meantime, we got Luna a pet for companionship. Our Shiba Inu, Copper, is almost 2. I should add this - wolves are not for everyone. You have to know what you are doing, hand raise them from birth, and be very commited. They are time consuming & high maintenence; requiring alterations to your yard, home, & lifestyle.
Business InformationHistory/background
For over twenty years, Kenn owned a body shop specializing in restoration. Some of the cars he did have won national awards. He also has 20+ years experience in marketing. I am medically disabled. Prior to that, I was CEO of a small company that manufactured and internationally marketed environmentally friendly odor control products to LP and natural gas companies. I have also done forensic accounting for small businesses, and had numerous pieces published as a free-lance writer. eBay has allowed me to work again in some measure. I specialize in jewelry not only because I love it, but also because it is small enough for me to handle! Kenn's and my goal is to build our little home business with the goal of carrying only the finest vintage & antique jewelry. We want our customers to have the same buying experience they would have in a higher end vintage store. We are learning restoration, and want to become good enough to preserve fine old pieces that might otherwise be lost.
Payment policy
Out of self-defense, we have become very strict about our terms. We accept PayPal only - from an existing PayPal balance, or from a debit or credit card. We prefer not to accept e-checks when there is a choice. Payment is due within 24 hrs of auction close. We make it a point to adher to other sellers' payment terms when buying.
Shipping information
We will ship anywhere in the world, and we have LOTS of experience, so we'll get it there safely. You do need to check our shipping policies in the listings, though. We have a policy of shipping within 3 business days after auction close. However that is mostly to give me extra time if my health is acting up. Most of the time we ship within 24 to 48 hours.
Return policy
We accept returns, but only if we have unknowingly misrepresented the item. We use numerous and very accurate photos so that our customers can see what they are getting - in fact, the photos show more than the naked eye can see.
Contact information
We prefer to be contacted through eBay.
Jonah, Jared & Kate: Raised With Wolves
Our wolves somewhat define us, but certainly not as much as the former residents of our empty nest. JONAH 29,is a social worker and teacher at an academy for boys convicted of violent crimes. He is also active in establishing their first competitive sports teams in track and cross country. In his free time, Jonah is a Staff Sgt. in the US Army, (after 7 years in the Air Force), and has served 2 combat tours. He is truly my hero. JARED, 24, gave us our first grandchild, Ian last year. He and his partner, Randi, are working hard at getting through the difficult years of work, college, and parenthood. Jared is a wonderful son who still finds time to help with things like mowing our huge yard. He is also a very accomplished martial artist with a deep interest in spirituality & philosophy. KATE, 24, is staying on the President's Honor Role in college, while working as the manager of the electronics department of a large retailer.
Please Be Patient
I really don't like adding this here, but it is relevant to our business. For the past 10 years, I have been medically disabled. I manage pretty well - but once in awhile I may be a little slow in communicating or shipping. If this happens, please be patient with me. I have not forgotten you, and you are important to us! Thank you!
